Returns & Refund Policy

In the unlikely event that you are not completely happy with your purchases from Kit 4 Security you may return your item within 14 days of the purchase date and we’ll provide you with a replacement or a refund.

We do not charge a handling or administration fee for returned items, all you pay is the cost of returning the item to us, if your item is returned to us because it is faulty we will provide a replacement completely free including postage.

If you have ordered the wrong item, you may return it to us, having first obtained returns approval providing the item is in an unused state and with the original manufactures packaging undamaged in exchange for similar item of same value, we will then only charge you the P&P for the replacement item.

While we aim to process all returns as quickly as possible please allow 7 working days for completion of your exchange items.

Please allow 14 working days for completion of returns and replacements of faulty items, this is to allow us time to test and report on the suspected fault.

We will not normally contact customers during these time periods unless there is a problem with the information supplied on your completed returns form.

To assist us in dealing with your return as quickly as possible please consider the following points of this policy;

  1. All returns must be accompanied by a printed returns form available from our website.
  2. Items must be returned in the same condition as they arrived, all packaging and tags must be in place and packaging must be un opened. In the case of faulty items the item must be returned with as much original packaging as possible.
  3. Any returned items that have been opened or that are not in original packaging will incur a charge or 20% of the item cost to cover repackaging.
  4. Items must be properly packaged to prevent damage; we are not responsible for items until they are delivered.
  5. Please return all items either by registered mail or retain a proof of posting as we are not responsible for items that do not get delivered to us. Lost items are the responsibility of the customer to pursue with the posting agent used.
  6. Items are returned at the cost of the customer.
  7. Where goods covered by manufacturers warranties it is requested that you comply with their directions.


For hygiene reasons we cannot accept returns of earpieces or under garments.

Books, DVD’s. CD’s, Downloaded items and intellectual property is excluded from return unless the packaging is unbroken.


Kit 4 Security reserves the right to offer the following solutions to returned items.

  1. Replacement.
  2. Refund.
  3. Issue of Credit for the original cost of your return.

Returns sent by post are at your own cost. Make sure you obtain a free stamped Proof of Postage from the Post Office as we are not responsible for items that are lost in transit or damaged on their way back to us.

Your refund will normally be processed within 7 working days of receiving your return but it may take slightly longer to appear on your bank statement or payment source for qualifying credit refunds. We will refund the cost of the item, but not the postage unless the item was found to be faulty. This does not affect your normal legal right, Kit4Security does not accept any returns without prior agreement and confirmation optioned by completing the returns form available on our website.
